NAPLAN , IGNITE and Selective Entry High Schools programs of Victoria and NSW provide the students the impetus that they need. But for that, they need guidance. The children need to be mentored to utilize these opportunities. For that, we need right set of mentors. That’s where imustudy and its mentors play a significant role.
Our mentors help students prepare for these opportunities by honing their numeric and linguistic skills.
We mentor students of Year 5 till Year 10.
Regular Classes
Apart from the classes run for exams likes the ones mentioned above, we also run classes for primary and secondary schools .
We provide live classes, assignments and mentoring in following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Science
- English
- Hindi
Class Schedule
We schedule the classes at a convenient time for the students based on their geography and their school schedules.
For regular classes, we offer 3 sessions of 1 hour each per week for each subject. For those preparing for IGNITE or NAPLAN, we have one class per week for Literacy and Numeracy each.
Students can pick and chose the subjects they want mentoring in.
We conduct classes in small batches of 6-8 students. Thereby, we ensure each student receive attention of the mentor.
Public Speaking
We conduct 1 class per week to encourage students read, write and speak with courage, under expressions club. These classes adopt self-paced project-based approach.
Students are encouraged to prepare a speech on topic of their choice and deliver the speech after preparing. Thereafter, Mentors provide feedback identifying strengths and areas of improvement to the students
Apart from prepared speech, we encourage students to talk on topics extempore preparing them to ‘think of the feet’; listen and evaluate to improve listening and evaluating skills.
